    Anne,
If you are looking for something fun to do with your pals. This might be an option and a chance to see some art....
The New Century Artists’ Collective Art show.
    At Dunn Brothers Coffee.
Address: 2471 Fairview Ave N. Roseville, MN

Show Dates: Dec. 6th thru Jan. 30th, 2009
Opening Reception: Thursday night, December 11th 6-8pm
Painting Sales: Saturday December 13th and December 20th 10am -2pm

On a cold Monday night in the middle of winter or a great summer night we are all in room 1060 at Century College--providing a cathartic two and a half hour retreat from the world, a chance for each person to relax with brush strokes, study of color, or whatever each artist wants to pursue. This group of artists has been meeting for years and has painted their way through divorce, death, and health issues. Much like a family, collectively they all learn from each others gifts and various strengths each brings to the easel, in which the end result, is beautiful art. Instructor Mary Degen-Heffelfinger has for more than 10 years been guiding the group as individuals to grow as artists.
The New Century Artists’ Collective is having an art show and reception at the Dunn Brothers coffee house in Roseville Minnesota.
This is a great chance to see a wide range of paintings and styles all under one roof. Just when winter starts to consume all of our daylight, and holiday shopping starts to fill our thoughts, right next to Rosedale there is a big room full of art, that could have the answer to your holiday shopping list. A great chance to relax with a hot cup of coffee, meet the artists’ take in all of the art.
The reception will be held on Dec. 11th 6pm- 8pm at Dunn Brothers Coffee. Address: 2471 Fairview Ave N. Roseville, MN. The coffee shop is attached to a wine shop which will offer wine tasting during the reception.
If you see some art you like, or a certain artist’s style piques your interest during the show, there will also be (2) art sale dates--Saturday December 13th and December 20th 10am -2pm.
    Thanks..
    Have a great day~

You found my wink?? Yay!!!! : ) We have been busy having fun. 4 days up at the North Shore for Ron and I....a nice romantic getaway. Then my best friend Bryan came into town, from TX, for 5 days. He just left yesterday evening. We had the time of our lives when he was here. So much fun!!!! Now I am heading to work and getting ready for a friend filled, love filled weekend! Have a happy day and pretend the sun is shining. Take a walk and enjoy the crunchy leaves. Life is truly amazing and every moment is a blessing!

lol- that's my problem. I always let the 10 trees drop their leaves, then winterize by just forgetting about it until the snow comes. Jer started on the yard yesterday. We have a HUGE yard to do. He got 1/2 the back-yard done yesterday. I figure he finished off about 3 tree's leaves thus far.
I think I might try to find something else for my christmas service project. I wouldn't mind cleaning out my laundry-room and organizing everything. Or possibly.... having them make me a tv stand or some sort of cabinetry (of course that means we buy the materials). Our landlord wanted to put an egress (sp?) in our master-bedroom and we could possibly do this. However, that too would cost a little bit of money. If we did though, hopefully we'd get some money off of rent for doing it ourselves. My dad is a contractor and owns is own company, so between all of us, we've got enough tradesmen to make or do anything. I'm trying to convince mom that we should remodel her bathroom. They already have the tile...
