I JUST HAVE TO SAY OUT LOUD THAT ALTHOUGH COMMISSIONER CAROL MALNAU IS ULTIMATELY RESPOSSILBLE... WHAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT HER TEAM? SHE IS THE FIGURE HEAD BUT WHERE DO THE FIGURES COME FROM? WHY IS NO ONE ELSE IN QUESTION HERE?
I DID LOOK FOR SOME INFO ON OUR MNDOT TEAM. CURSORY GLANCE, THE ONLY ONE I COULD FIND WITH ANY ACCOUNTABLE KNOWLEDGE OF BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION IS ROBERT McFARLIN. AND THAT'S NOT SAYING MUCH.
I'M DISAPPOINTED IN THE MEDIA FOR POINTING OUR ATTENTION TO BLAMING. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE ATTENTION PAID TO WHAT CAN BE DONE TO FACILITATE THE NEW CONSTRUCTION. ALTHOUGH I WAS NOT ON THE BRIDGE THAT DAY, AT THAT TIME, IT DOES AFFECT ME. SO LET'S GET ON WITH CONSTRUCTING A NEW BRIDGE OR AT LEAST LEADING ME TO A PATH THAT WILL HELP WITH NEW CONSTRUCTION.

I so agree, it seems a lot this day in age that many people are playing the blame game. Why is it that when these disasters happen we focus on the problem and not the solution? OR IT TAKES DAYS TO FIGURE OUT A SOLUTION. Like in New Orleans when hurricane Katrina hit, to be honest with you ANNEFINDLEY I'm not proud to say I'm an American for these very same reasons. Kinda like going into a war in Iraq that were not winning and probably not leaving anytime soon. I'm glad to say though ANNEFINDLEY that I know I will not be playing the blame game and that shaming is not right also. So I know in my heart that at least I can stop the blame game and not let it continue in my own world hopefully that will resonate out to the community, city, state, country and finally the world. Because I know that the things I do in my life effects not only myself but it effects everyone. (example: getting a decent job, not blaming and being respectful) Hopefully there's enough people out there that will realize the blame game is not right and will stop playing this degrading game.
praying for resolution for all,
Laura
