Here are my plans to treat myself for this accomplishment...

I am going to spend some of the money that I am supposed to be getting for the egg-donation fiasco for a new espresso machine. I'm a total dork and have researched the best machines.

For a machine that retails at Starbucks for $799... I am going to wait until the Starbucks brewing sale where all espresso machines are marked down 30%-40% + my 30% discount... so I'm thinking that I will get this machine for somewhere in the 60%-70% off range!

In addition, I'm in the midst of booking a weekend in downtown for Jer and I. My mom and sister-in-law want to take care of the kids in order to celebrate my success... and I am researching nice hotels that are within downtown. It'll be so nice to have 2 nights away.

Ooh, neat! Is it the Korean Cultural Center in South Saint Paul? I took language lessons there for about a month. I'd love to meet other half Koreans. I don't have a Facebook page right now but I've been considering setting up a "fake" one. You can certainly send her my email address if you'd like... pikapikachick at gmail.

I know my family is not going to throw a bash for me... and I'm very happy about that. It would seem missplaced somehow. However, I will take you up on your advice. Now the question is: What makes me happy? Honestly I'll be thinking about this alot in the next couple of weeks as I try to figure out exactly how to celebrate this moment.

I am glad the cabin painting reminded you of you Grandparent's, some of my favorite times

for me, were with my Grandparents at the lake.

To be honest, the auditions this year have not been entertaining for me. I do like the new judge, but don't like the new "watered down" political correctness of the show. Call me a mean girl, but I like more spice and drama. I don't even need to see really bad people, good people with cool stories would be fine...just gimme somethin'! I'm hoping things get better once we get to Hollywood. They better!

hmmm... when I need somewhere to go... My escape would possibly be at the bottom of a good latte. Of course, lately my escape has simply been in cuddling with the kids. Thankfully today I feel good, so my escape is sitting by the fire and actually feeling like I can put two sentences together. I even got some homework done!
