    Age: 29

    Location:
    St. Anthony
    Career: Receptionist
About Me: For the last three years I taught Middle School Language Arts, and I loved it for the first two years. Things changed this past year and I didn't like where they were going so I decided to leave the teaching profession.

I still love working with kids and I really enjoy helping others so over the next few years I am going to be taking courses to become a nurse. Big change but I know it will be completely worth it.

I grew up here in the cities and I attended undergrad at UMD. I currently live in a town home with two roommates and my lovely little dog.

I am pretty laid back and easygoing. I love to meet new people and make new friends. Feel free to drop me a line.
Hobbies: I love to read, shop, hang out outdoors whether it is walking around lakes, catching an outdoor film, or just enjoying quiet time at my family's cabin up North. I also love watching live theater or finding fun new restaurants and bars to go to.
Favorite FM107.1 Show(s): I love them all! However, I usually am only able to listen to Stephanie and Meredith, Laurie and Julia, and The Saturday Night Groove. I try to catch the other shows as much as I can on my days off .
Music: I listen to a wide variety of music from top 40, to country to adult rock, gotta love 80's music, and much more. My ipod has it all. I currently am in love with music by Sarah Barielles, Usher, Cheryl Crow, Amy Winehouse and a few more that I can't think of off the top of my head.
Movies: I like cheesy romantic comedies, dramas that make you think, musicals, comedies. But I can't stand horror movies or really bloody gore filled movies. I loved Juno, Sex And The City, Superbad, and I finally saw The Shawshank Redemption which was amazing.

Hope all is going well. Just thought I'd stop by and say "hi." I noticed that you also read "Children of God go Bowling" as well. I picked up the Manny for my vacation in a week! Yeah! I have a break from school, so now's the time! I was going to ask if you have the summer off from teaching, but perhaps not if you're working in an office??!!?

Thanks for stopping by. I totally love To Kill a Mockingbird. Of course, I'll also agree with your Jane Eyre choice!  And Nanny Diaries and Devil Wears Prada are fabulous as well.
