Spring is definitely rockin' my world right now. I spent a whole luxurious half hour today - yes, I was self-indulgent - watching the Goldfinches flutter and perform their aerobatics around the thistle feeders in our front yard. It is virtually hypnotic sometimes. Try it. Those lucky little buggers sure can flit and fleetly fly...insert instrumental from the Goodnight Song from "The Sound of Music"....doot doodle doot doo doot doo doo Doot doodle doot doot dooooooooo. WOW! I may resurrect my Turbo Blog, for today, for Spring's sake....and why the heck NOT?!?!
I deeply breathed the air, wore some flip flops, watched the clouds, marveled at the birds, bought a mum, got dirt under my nails, filled a bird bath, filled a bird feeder, smelled some sage, raked some rocks, made a list, hefted a watering can, planted and hung a flower basket, threw out some bad bulbs, perused The Enchanted Forest and noticed the many dead-fallen trees that will make great firewood, played with the dogs, and turned my face to the sun....
Happy Spring, peeps!

Yesterday I too took advantage of spring... here is my turbo mini-comment??? lol
ZI walked barefoot, sent the kids outside, brought out all the bikes and tricycles, moved some boulders, sat on my front step, found Jack and Sophia hiding in the backyard, went for a drive, saw a car covered in bones [weird???], lowered the windows, played with Isaiah, saw their new place, helped Jack up at the park, stood in the sun holding Wesley, drove back listening to Colleen, picked up Cecelia from school, went to 3 tile stores to purchase tile, started tiling the backsplash (or rather watching the man whose expertise is tile- as he worked), sat by the fire, drank kombucha.
Today... sunshine naps in the afternoon.
