Like most, I love me some youtube.  Here are some videos I've been liking lately.

I can't imagine how long it took this guy to do this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuGaqLT-gO4

Some genius Cinerama fan put this together, and I thank him every time I watch it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUdiYOEsK-E

This reminds me of how much I love panda bears: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klO6oyK9Y5w and so does this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4dMnAPZu70

A fine sampling of the body of work of one of the most innovative stop motion animators of our time, and a cute song to go with it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mw73fimztVo

One of my favorite scenes from a Marx Brothers film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5lU52aWTJo&feature=related

Salvador Dali really was a freaking nutcase, but I still love him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5A3Oo_zj5c

If Mary Poppins were a horror flick, this is what the trailer would have been like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2T5_0AGdFic freaking genius!

Pigeon John at his finest, even though he makes a few mistakes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlRT-zjoZHU

My favorite Pizzicato Five song at the moment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0W_WgQl_8c

Last, but certainly not least, a bunch of my friends acting silly while drunk, after watching the spanish film [REC]: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-KAvbjiTRw

    Enjoy!

I'm not even supposed to be here today!

    Thursday, October 2, 2008, 08:28 AM [General]

I only signed up for this so I can read/comment on Ian Punnett's blog.  He's an innovative thinker.  I feel that it doesn't take much to be one of those these days, unfortunately.  I'm happy to see people just think to turn off the TV and read a book or go play outside.

Maybe I will end up posting stuff on here.  This site seems to be more user friendly than Live Journal.  Not that I post a whole lot on Live Journal.

I wish that I wouldn't have clicked "don't allow" when that little dialogue box popped up asking if I wanted this website to access my clipboard, warning me that it could access my clipboard at any time.  Now that I think about it, that seems a little ridiculous.  I've spent the last eight minutes trying to figure out how to make it so that I can paste stuff I've copied on here now.  Not that it would matter much if I hooked up the new(er) computer I have sitting over there.  Maybe this will be the thing that actually prompts me to do that.

This concludes the lamest initial blog post in history.   =P
