    Horrible, Sad and Disgusting Moment

Sunday, August 10, 2008, 09:20 PM CST [General]

I was outside enjoying the lovely weather.  Flitting around my garden, I was in the zone.  That happy place where you think of nothing, worry about nothing and just enjoy the moment.  I was totally lost in my head and feeling blissful, when........ the most horrible, sad and disgusting thing happened.

If you watch CSI you know the sound.  The oozy, creepy, give you the willies squish of decomposing flesh once disturbed.  I feel sick just thinking of this moment again.

I was deadheading my daylily when I hear the sound.  I broke my zen state and I realized I had made that sound!  As my mind becomes alerted that something is wrong, I start to look around and see I have just stepped on the body of a poor, little, dead bunny.

    I SCREAMED!!!!

Then I screamed again.  The most blood curdling screams I have ever let out.  I was so shocked at what I saw and how I reacted.  I walked off fast knowing John had to have heard me from inside the house.  He was coming out to see if I was attacked or something.  I felt so sick.  I could hear the sound and feel the step still.  I calmed myself by knowing I hadn't killed the bunny.  I would have hopped away and not let me step on it.  Still I made John go check it out and dispose of the poor, sweet, lil bunny.

I was really freaked that I screamed like that!  I never expected I would react to anything like that but it was that I had stepped on the body that really freaked me out.  I had just seen a tiny little bunny the day before and enjoyed the moment so much.  I love, love, love the bunnies in the garden (yes I am an odd gardener).  I was so upset thinking the cutie I just met yesterday was dead in my garden AND I STEPPED ON HIM.

Later I got my courage up and went back out to water, watching carefully where I stepped.  As I watered my giant hosta, my tiny baby bunny friend came hopping out.  I was so freakin happy!  I really needed to see him and it made me feel a million times better.  He was so gosh darn adorable.  I giggled and smiled and was so happy as I finished the watering.

When was the last time you let out a blood curdling scream?  and why?

    Soul Type

Wednesday, August 6, 2008, 10:19 PM CST [General]

Thanks for posting this link Vic.  I dig this stuff (as you will see from my results)

My top 2 are pretty right on the money.

    Spiritualist

What unites Spiritualists is a deeply held belief in a world beyond this one. You will have a desire to express your spirituality in some way, and may be drawn to religion or other spiritual practices. Many Spiritualists are highly intuitive, which is why you may have had psychic experiences in the past and why you will tend to use your sixth sense when it comes to decisionmaking.

You have a great deal of compassion, and may feel a strong need to create a better world, or to help people make the best of their lives. Charities and nonprofits are places where you and other Spiritualists can express your soul's desire to help others. Whatever work you choose, you must feel you have a higher purpose. It is not enough for a Spiritualist type to simply pick up a check at the end of the week. There has to be a feeling that someone has benefited from your efforts. That's why many doctors and healers are Spiritualists.

Whether you know it or not, you frequently inspire others through your behavior. By expressing Spiritualist values such as compassion, fairness, honesty and altruism, you encourage others to live by these values-especially younger Spiritualists who will wish to emulate you.

    Creator

As the name suggests, Creators are drawn to creativity of all sorts.  This includes conventional artistic pursuits such as photography or painting, and activities including dance, gardening, cooking, and playing music. Great artists like Michelangelo and van Gogh were Creator types, as are filmmakers like Steven Spielberg and entertainers from Barbra Streisand to Julia Child.

Without a creative outlet, Creators can become miserable, which is why, if this is your type, you will be drawn to express yourself creatively in anything you do. You have the ability to be original, and will use your imagination to find new or better ways to convey your ideas.

The sensitivity that is a mark of the Creator can be hard to manage in this harsh modern world. It does, however, give you an advantage when it comes to accessing the intuitive part of yourself. For this reason, many people who make their living as psychics are Creator types. The Creator trait of idealism allows you to see the good in others and the potential in people and situations. Focusing on the big picture will come naturally, though paying attention to details may not.

So I am feeling better! Yeah! No more headaches and sea sickness or spinny head.  Thanks to Dr Sophia's healing advice of naps and new shoes. hee hee

Dad is HOME! Yeah! Hooray! He sounds in much better spirits too.  He actually call me to see how I was feeling and wish me well.  His dog is delighted to see him home too.

My photography display is up at Starbucks until Sunday night August 10th.  I am happy to have sold some prints, and thank everyone who has been so encouraging and supportive of me.  It has been fun to see my work on display and I am proud I had the chutzpah to take the opportunity given to me.

Great news is I just booked my next show!  I will have my photography on display again come September at Dunn Brothers Coffee on Hwy 55 7 Vicksburg.  I am very excited to keep at it and try to make something happen with my photography.

I have a new great niece too.  She was born on August 2nd and is healthy.  I cannot wait to meet her.  I have been waiting for my illness to pass.  Finally, it is over and I will get to take photos of little Beatrice.  I don't know how to get used to the name.  I have no idea where it came from or how they got that name.  I am hoping as I fall in love with her I will fall in love with her name too. hee hee

    Have a Groovy day ya'll!!!
