I'm doing my best to let my little beauties pamper me today. The kids changed the laundry for me and this morning all I did was put a quiche in the oven. It's been a pretty easy day... and the girls are watching movies with me as I relax.

lol... who knows that little girl can come up with just about anything. The other day, she was playing "house" with Jer and I. We paid $500 for vinegar because that's all she had at her restaurant. Then, she brought me coffee and I paid 6 and 7. She actually paid me to drink her "coffee" and made my husband pay nearly $1500 for what he ordered.
She's very imaginative, but soon will no longer allow us to call her by her nickname. Ahh... she's getting older.

We postponed planting with the kids until next week or possibly even the next. You know, you are always welcome to join us!!! Love you, babe!

You are such an encouragement. I know so many people have similar feelings. Those thoughts of being "stuck" and alone are never fun. Although the cir****stances and/or details differ from person to person, remember many of us are feeling the same way.
I felt especially inspired to write that blog simply because no one will talk about it... in public... but everyone is going through it. We are all here. We all need someone to lean on. Unfortunately, we have to do it in the small ways that don't seem to actually help. I know that not everyone will open up and share their struggles, but that doesn't mean that we cannot encourage each other and be a light in our friendships.
You are a light. I love you.

I'm looking forward to the flowers too. I have a carnation plant that never has really done very well, but it looks like it's going to pop this year! My rose bush still looks very sad, but it has some buds! I love smelling the fresh flowers.

BTW: Jack didn't seem to even be bothered by the diaper (whether it was completely cleaned or not)... he just wanted to play. Guess that's a good lesson for me. We still need to keep on, even when... ok I'll stop there. I'm not picturing ANYONE in a diaper.

Thankfully, I do believe that everyone is better... but I need to slow down and get my body back into healthy mode. I get sick every time the kids are sick! This is getting to be too much :)
