I wonder if my kids have actually had to do that one... "mommy and daddy are in the shower having sex"

    They just might have...

I am so very content with being 40 and knowing that 41 is only 3 months away. I love my age and who I am at age 40. I'm better now than I was at 18 or 25. So the "middle age" thing is just a term, not a state of how I feel. 40 rocks!

Yes, you are all fuzzy. All the other screen pics on my page look okay - only you are fuzzy. Weird!

Similarly, I do not like competition. That's why I've never done any 5Ks. I surprised myself by doing the IronGirl. The only way I had the nerve to sign up and do it was to say that I was only competing against myself. Good thing, too, cuz my time was horrible! That said, I finished and was so proud of myself I could barely stand it. I can honestly say I beat myself just by doing it.

The Constantine thing must be a middle-aged thing. I don't find Michael Johns "hot"/attractive in any way...nothing...nada...doesn't work for me. Guess it takes all kinds.

Seriously? You do better running on a treadmill than outside? I am always amazed by people who say that. I cannot run on a treadmill. I don't know if I just get too bored or if I get overzealous and try to run faster than my comfort level. I'm a slow and steady (tortoise) runner - a 10-11 minute mile is my pace. I think I try to go to fast on the treadmill and wear out too quickly. Anyway, any running is good for me. I've been out the last 2 days and had 2 great runs around the lake.

What 5K are you doing? Although I love running, I've never had the nerve to do a 5K or 10K. I did, however, do the IronGirl Duathlon last September and loved it. Now, if I could just get the nerve to do a 5K. I envy you.

Welcome back to blogging. WARNING - Addictive!

Thank You so much for the kind words over my loss.  I wish no one would ever feel the pain of losing a loved one.  You will be in my thoughts & prayers this holiday season.
