The theme for next week's American Idol with the top 8 is songs from the year you were born. It's pretty much going to be an 80s night and one from the 90s. Cute Monchichi Allison was born in 1992.
So what hit from the year you were born would you sing?
I was born in 1980. I can't decide between two (and this is assuming I can sing....); I'd pick either Olivia Newton John's Magic or Diana Ross' Upside Down!

TesstarosaLots of surfing songs (Surfin' USA, Surf City, Surfer Girl, wipe Out), songs that were remade in the 70's (Mockingbird, Be My Baby, Da Doo Ron Ron, Go Away Little Girl, I'm Leaving It Up to You)-- the 70's versions are the ones I know.
