Have you checked out Weekend Buzz with Jason Matheson? If you haven't, you need to! It's Jason's new show and it's so much fun to watch! And I'm not just saying that because I love him so much. I would say this about this show if he was a stranger. It's funny, warm and informative.
He asks celebrities great questions (check out his interview with Cheryl Jones of 24) and check out his "must lists."
It's on My29 tonight at 11 pm and on Fox 9 tomorrow (Fridays) at 11:35 pm.

Did you watch Letterman last night? What's the deal with Joaquin Phoenix? Trying to be funny? Drunk? Out of it?
Is that beard weighing him down? Sucking the energy out of him?
Phoenix didn't talk and didn't remember the clip or what his new movie Two Lovers is about! Two Lovers director James Gray's not sure if this publicity is good or bad for the film.
Guess we're talking about it. We'll be doing it today on the Jason Matheson show during HotDish in the first segment around 11:05 am.
Maybe Phoenix just doesn't care; he says Two Lovers is his last film and he's going to be a hip hop recording artist.
If anyone cares, Two Lovers is a story about a middle-aged man struggling with mental illness exploring the emotional and romantic life.
Joaquin might be going mental.
One selling point for the movie, if small breasts are your thing (or any boobage): Donny Love says Gwyneth Paltrow, who costars in the movie, exposes them a few times. He already has his tickets. He's got high standards.
The Grammys are this Sunday and it's my favorite award show of the year. There's 110 categories so I'm trying to freshen up or discover some of the nominees.
I always look forward to seeing who wins Best New Artist. Amy Winehouse won last year.

I hope Lady GaGa wins. She's up for best dance recording for Just Dance. I LOVE this song; it makes me happy. She's up against Daft Punk's Harder Better Faster Stronger, Hot Chip's Ready for the Floor, Madonna's Give It 2 Me and Rihanna's Disturbia. Disturbia is a great song too.
And the big question: will M.I.A. perform? She scheduled to and she's nominated for Record of the Year. But get this, on Sunday, she's exactly 9 months pregnant! There will be a golf cart next to the stage ready to whisk her away in case she goes into labor!
I can't wait to see the performances which include Paul McCartney, U2, Miley Cyrus with Taylor Swift, Kid Rock, Coldplay, Jennifer Hudson, Rihanna, Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood and the Jonas Brothers, Jay-Z, T. I., Lil Wayne and Kanye West with M.I.A. (if the baby's still inside).
Another wild card is Lil' Wayne. He leads the nominations with 8. What will he do or say if/when he wins? I'll be watching.
Let's hope the stars behave somewhat badly...we'll see and of course we'll be talking about it on Monday.

Last night Katie Couric (Jason's dream wife) interviewed Grammy nominees Justin Timberlake, Lil' Wayne and Katy Perry.
Katie talked to Justin Timberlake first. I'm a big fan of his. He's funny and talented. And he's right; a grown man in spandex is hilarious! Here he is, in spandex, on SNL:
Then Katie interviewed Lil' Wayne. She asked him some great questions and his answers completely changed my view of him. He's much more introspective than I thought. He makes no apologies and says he's a great role model, but only to his two kids. Katie revealed that he was an A student in school and he doesn't write his lyrics down, they just come out. The Katy Perry interview was good too. Nothing really new came out of it for me; when I first heard I Kissed A Girl and a previous single UR So Gay, I had to find out more about her; here's the interview with Katie:
