The Entertainment Center: Elisabeth Flashes Her Be

Wednesday, July 18, 2007, 11:19 PM CST [General]

The Scoop:  Wednesday morning on the View, Elisabeth Hasselbeck responded in a most unique way to Barbara Walter sharing how unacceptable it was to show pregnant women on television during her days on the "Today" show.  Elisabeth flashed her pregnant belly on national television.  Hasselbeck is due to give birth to her second child in November.  See the clip here.

Colleen says:  God bless ya, Elisabeth!  If I had a belly that looked that good during my pregnancies, I'd have been wearing a bikini almost constantly.  Okay, that's a lie, but still, more power to you!  A pregnant woman is a beautiful thing and nothing to be ashamed of.  I couldn't tell if Barbara's reaction was of shock, disgust, or jealousy that she didn't get to do the same thing when she was great with child!  You be the judge!  Watch the clip and then go to the forum to chat about your reaction to the belly!

The Entertainment Center: Paris Sings Again!

Wednesday, July 18, 2007, 06:47 AM CST [General]

The Scoop:  Paris Hilton, now free from the prison walls, is working with producer Scott Storch on her second album.  He is the same producer that worked with her on her previous album which featured the song, "Stars Are Blind" and sold more than 600,000 copies.  Hilton talked to a source at E! Online who report that Paris is determined to improve with her second album.  They also have said that she is very serious about her music career, taking voice lessons several times a week.

Colleen says:  Good for Paris!  I'm not going to lie and pretend like I didn't like her single, "Stars Are Blind."  I haven't been able to bring myself to download it to my iPod, but I will admit to stopping dead in my tracks everytime it's piped through speakers and doing a little dance.  I thought it was a good enough song - and I was sad that she didn't get cut much slack for that album.  I mean, that girl has screwed up, and probably will continue to do so (that's not fair of me to say, maybe she is trying to reform - and who among us is perfect?) but the girl is trying to use her passion and talent!  Some people may not like her music, and that's okay, but let's give the gal a high five for trying to make a go of it.  If she's successful, then maybe her fame will mean something!  I'm cheering Paris on in this endeavor!

    Let's chat in the forum!
