Well, good people, there are birthdays and then there are birthdays.

The biggest one across the land, of course, is this weekend.  

It's time for the good ol' US of A to turn the big 2-3-3. That's right, 232 years just flew by.  

And, for that, The G.R., Your Main Man of The Glow, hasn't planned a dang thing.

Sorry, Lady Liberty, no gifts for you. Sorry, American Eagle, no cards either. Regrets, Liberty Bell, but I forgot to run out and get some caulk for that crack you've got going there.  

But that doesn't mean I don't get a little too sentimental about life, liberty and the pursuit of Freedom Fries.  

In fact, is there a better holiday than the Fourth of July? Maybe Thanksgiving, but it's close. I could go either way.  

So, anyway, I'm wondering what to do.   

Your G.R. is a flexible, fluid, go with the flow kind of guy when it comes to these things. That's how he keeps the AfterGlow so smooooooth.  

But I'm seriously wondering what kinds of events and adventures you have planned for this holiday weekend.  

I might go camping. I might hit the lake. I might stay around the homestead.  

But I'd take suggestions, and even hear stories of perfect Independence Days past.  

Go ahead and tell me here, good patriotic citizens. And don't forget to party.
