As far as Troopergate goes, Sarah couldn't win. She know for a fact what a psycho evil trooper the guy is, but now that you are the person who could rightfully have him removed, your hands are tied because you have a family connection with him. But rather than being allowed to let him sink his own ship and just stay out of it, you are now the Governor and your chief of security wants to know if anyone has ever threatened you or your family. Turns out this sorry excuse for a trooper is also extremely racist and despises native Alaskans and has verbally attacked your husband as well over the years. When you tell the security chief he instructs your husband to talk to the man in charge of the troopers about it. Then THAT sorry excuse decides to use it as ammo later when he's a disgruntled former employee.

Abstinence only programs don't work. Got it. My son just went through sex ed in fifth grade. The dialog that happened at home regarding our expectations of him the future were more important than the nuts and bolts he received at school. If the liberal public school is going to teach one thing, and your family believes something else, it is the parent's responsibility to reinforce their belief system. There are LOTS of questions surfacing about Palin. And there is room for speculation of when she will withdraw from the race "for personal reasons".
1) she lied about refusing funding for the Bridge to Nowhere; she ran for Alaska governor on a pro-bridge platform and she used the funds earmarked for the bridge to build a road on Gravina Island that ends at the shore right where the bridge was planned to be built -- honest? not so much
2) until 2006, she was a director of the Ted Stevens Excellence in Service 527 organization -- "reformer"? not so much
3) for years, she was a member of the Alaskan Independence Party (that advocates Alaska's secession from the U.S.) -- patriotic? not so much
4) she approved 31 earmarks last year (down from 54 the year before because of wanting to avoid "attention from Washington) -- anti-port barrel? not so much
McCain has only just now hired an attorney to vet her. And it happens to be the person Rove used to smear McCain in South Carolina in 2004 with the "black love child" fiction. Desperate much? -- yes.
His selection of her was a HUGE mistake and it was his first "presidential" decision. Good judgement? -- not so much.
