Hi Ian. Thanks for the blog. I have been listening to you on KFI in LA for years now. I just had to write to congradulate you on your ordination coming up on tuesday. It somehow makes ligitimate ones views that they have chosen a more stable and consistant state of mind. Good for you and I wish you the best.

I also wanted to write about the woman you mentioned on you're Sat. night program, from Canada who had a stroke and since has spoken with a Newfoundland dialect. I could not find anything on C2C to link to so I decided to try here. There was a US Weather Radio station that broadcast from there until about 1958. Like almost all their wheather stations they constantly repeat data until they update. It would have been on Marine Band radio, (I had one because my Uncle was in the Air Force), and I heard it all the way in Massachusetts. I used to listen because they would tell when the ice melted that allowed ships through the artic, and info about Iceland and Greenland.

I thought this might have been what she had done, because , as a child, I used to try to copy the dialects as a game! Perhaps her stroke took her back to that time and she somehow got stuck there, the mind does that sometimes when under stress.

    Well enough for now

Thankyou again for your wonderful show!

The interview with the guy, who thinks men have it so rough in this world of women, was hilarious! My hubby and I were on the porch this morning listening to it and I actually caught myself doing the fist jab in the air and saying, "Go Ian, Go Margery!!!" : ) I agree wholeheartedly that he didn't even come close to making his point. Thanks for the unexpected laughter. Once again, I wish you two were on the air much more than you are. What a breath of fresh air you guys are!

    Hi Ian!

I can almost see the back of my head in the picture from Friday night.. if only it was a little further to the right! Well, I guess it is supposed to be of the recipients, isn't it?

Great to see you all again- it really seemed to be a great success, and so inspiring as well. The two of you did a great job!

Nice show Sunday with Jesus as a guest, but when's Satan gonna be on? Oh, and what part of "thou shalt not kill", "vengeance is mine", and "turn the other cheek" fits into the concept of "just" war?
