GRG of the Week Abbie Testa and her mom, Emily, opened the Dish and the Spoon Cafe in River Falls, WI. She says, "I truly love what you have to offer the station. It is a constant battle to balance the stress of being a business owner with the importance of living a balanced healthy life. Listening to your show...helps with the balancing!"
Dish and the Spoon Café is owned and operated Emily Lyon-Hansen and Abbie Testa (retirement project for the former and hopeful career choice for the latter!). One of Abbie's best friends is Valerie Lundgren, who worked at the Cafe. She opened Karma next door and, with the help of friends and family, the two women have renovated a patch of weeds between the buildings into a beautiful garden/patio space for dining.
Abbie says the women - and their businesses - are fun, unique and a little crazy! That's exactly why she's the GRG of the Week! :)
