lol- it's funny how they can so quickly shift blame. Sophia and Jack go at it, but both blame each other for any mess or problem.

I had beige--didn't last very long. Kids trashed it sooo fast, I gave up and got a dark shade that shows no spills. Now I can fake having clean carpeting.

That's a funny story!

People always warn you about the TERRIBLE TWOs! However, as I remember it, my boys were TERRIFIC TWOS and started to be mischief makers when then reached THREE. No one warned me about that...

We survived though and now they are headed toward the teenaged years. (yikes!)

I'm a legend in my family for doing the same thing - but I decided to make raspberry jello. I think I was in kindergarten and they had to pull the carpet.



Of course I blamed it on my brother - unlike the dog, he quickly put me in my place. Kids - it's never boring!

Wood floors may be in your near future! : ) We are beyond the little kids stage now (our kids are 16 and 14) but for some reason, boys never grow out of the destruction phase. We learned early on that we will never throw our sons b-day parties at our home since something always gets broken. We can have a million girls here and nothing happens but get our sons friends here and all hell breaks loose! : ) We told the boys one day they could come over but had to stay outside. Guess what, the swingset got broken! ARGH!! I had a friend who just had a co-ed party for her 8th grader. She has had many girl parties and they are great. The co-ed party ended with them breaking the trampoline, a hole in the wall, stains on the carpet and somehow her silverware scattered in the yard. When it happens, you just have to laugh cuz otherwise you will stress yourself out to no end! Make sure you are writing it all in a journal so you can remember the craziness. : )
