Second time's a charm...
At 7:35 p.m. on Wednesday evening, President Obama took the oath of office... again. Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. flubbed his lines at the original swearing in and in an effort to "make it more official" the two staged a do-over.
White House Counsel Greg Craig (editorial comment: Did you see that his name is Greg Craig!) said in a statement, "We believe the oath of office was administered effectively and that the president was sworn in appropriately on Tuesday. But the oath appears in the Constitution itself. And out of abundance of caution, because there was one word out of sequence, Chief Justice Roberts administered the oath a second time."
Note to self, always follow the script... always.
Lost anyone???
I don't know about you, but after the premiere of Lost last night, I am more lost than ever. Anyone have any insights that can keep a girl up to speed? This whole time travel thing is blowing my mind. I am not disappointed though... what about you?
As for tonight...
Don't forget to set your DVR for the usual Office, 30 Rock, Ugly Betty, and Grey's Anatomy. The season premiere of Burn Notice on USA is at 9:00 tonight. The premise: Former spook Michael Westen (Jeffery Donovan), stuck in his hometown of Miami when he's "burned" by the agency, is still trying to find out who ruined his life.
