Possibly the best news you'll hear all day...
Conan O'Brien and Andy Richter will be back together again. Andy Richter spent 7 years as Conan O'Brien's sidekick on NBC's "Late Night," and now will be joining O'Brien as his announcer on the "Tonight" Show when O'Brien takes over hosting duties in June.
It may come as a little surprise that I am a complete TV junky, and my best years were when Andy Richter was on with Conan. This new warms the ****les of my heart. All is right with the Universe!
...and the second best news...
The stage version of "Little House on the Prairie" which was originally staged right here on our home turf at the Guthrie Theater will kick-off a national tour starting... right here on our home turf! The show will run at the Ordway from October 13-25, and Melissa Gilbert will again play the part of Ma.
As far as 'the Hills' is concerned...
They can count themselves down one viewer (I'm sure they are devistated that they've finally lost me). First of all, Audrina Patridge (who the AP calls "Audrina Partridge" in this article - which made me giggle because that's how you really know you're a nobody - when the AP doesn't even bother to find the correct spelling of your name) posted a video of a robbery caught on surveillance at her home.
Now, the big news is that frienemies Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad are huggin' it out on the new season. I'm over it. I like my reality TV real and full of drama. I realize that I'm the last to the table on this, but truly, if I am finally backing away (and I'll seriously watch just about anything and like it), then we really know that 'the Hills' is doomed. This is good news.
