Our favorite area of the Superior H.T. is north of Grand Marais. There are several spots where you can pull off the road and park, then hike. Bring a backpack with lunch, sit on the beach and watch the lake...it's just beautiful. Kids tend to like collecting rocks, so bring a bag for each collection...Have fun!
