DIY -- Lawn Chairs

Has Anyone bought the wooden lawn chairs from Craft Store that you paint yourself ? Was the quality of the product good ?
OR
Does any one have suggestions where to purchase wooden Adirondack chairs to finish yourself ?

Ok, I'm responding a little late, but I see that sales on lawn furniture are on now, even a few "clearance" items. (Home Depot, for example.) Just a quick check on the www shows Sears has unfinished ones for $80, which seems like a good deal to me. I get the "This Old House" magazine, and they have some directions for making your own, but the cuts are pretty precise, which makes it a no go for me! |
