C'mon, He did his time. He has a right to work in the field he is trained for. Look at Daunte Stallworth, he KILLED a person and was only suspended for a year. BTW- I am not a Vick fan or an animal hater. I just believe that every person has the right to work. I would hate to think that if I were convicted of a crime that had NOTHING to do with my profession and I did my time, when I got out I couldn't get a job. You don't have to work with him or support him. Now what would really offend me is if he were to get endorsement deals after this. |

Not that I think animal torture or animal fighting is right -- Vick has served his time and therefore has the right to earn a living.
In fact, if a person cannot get any job after they've finished their sentence for a crime -- what's the point in letting them out of jail? If they can't work and earn a living, then they have very few choices that will allow them to live on the "straight and narrow" and they will find themselves back in the same situation that got them incarcerated the first time.
Basically, if redemption isn't possible, there's no reason to try to be better. |

Of course I think he deserves a second chance. I think anybody who serves their time does. I'm just sad he's with MY Eagles. |

Depends on what you mean by second chance.
He served his time. He deserves to be out of jail. He should be able to get some kind of job. BUT I think he should be far away from a profession were people look up to him, like pro sports.
Oh - does second chance also mean a second chance to torture animals again????? |
