I was very shocked to hear Kevyn is gone!!  She is the reason I started listening years ago.  I felt that she was the best thing about fm107.  Kevyn was what kept the "40 somethings" like me listening!  I have watched and loved her since she arrived in Minneapolis years ago.  She is the refreshing balance between "talk radio" and "gossip radio".  She was what I and a lot of other people loved to listen to.   I hope she  pops up somewhere else in this broadcast market......I'll be there listening!

I too only signed up for this Gabster thing because I wanted to post my opinion.  FM 107 - Enough is Enough!  I have been listening to your station since day ONE!  Telling everyone one I know about it and have turned several listeners your way.  You have done nothing but continue to push people like me away.  The people that have helped put you on the map you are turning your back on!

IF you could have picked a worse match for Kevyn it is Shelletta - she is HORRIBLE.  I do not care to hear about an inner shenekqua???  Who are you trying to appeal too?  I have been turning Kevyn off - only because I can't stand another minute of sheletta - Girl.  I mean where did you get her and she is talented????

Your weekend shows are actually about living life - your weekday shows - I agree with everyone here - they are all becoming blah, blah, blah.  They literally read us the SAME gossip with every show.

I do enjoy Lori and Julia - they were the ones that started the celebrity stuff and that is their gig.  Just because that was successful doesn't mean you need to repeat that OVER AND OVER all day.

I have looked at advertising our business on your station and it seemed your demo was educated, adults - primarily women.  You are just turning them off and they will you.

There have been several other changes this year that I just continue to roll my eyes.  I hope you are reading the comments.

Sincerely,

Becoming an "un" loyal listener.

If anything, I will miss the way Kevyn was able to turn the focus of every interview to herself and children

I am soo insulted over the termination of Kevyn Burger.  We don't just want trivial chatter, we want shows with thoughtful, insightful, intelligent women like Kevyn Burger.  Bring her back!

FM107 certainly has moved in a different direction. I'm not so sure it is in the RIGHT direction; not just because they let Kevyn Burger go, but for a lot of the mindless nothing that goes on now.

I have found myself listening less and less for quite some time now.  At first I thought it was due to my job duties getting in the way but later realized that it had more to do with hearing the same thing show after show...about celebrities and other worthless stuff.

I liked the variety Kevyn brought when she talked about REAL stuff.  Frankly, I thought that's what FM107 was all about...REAL LIFE CONVERSATION and LIVING LIFE OUT LOUD, not totally celebrity gossip and meaningless stuff.

If I want to hear about celebrity goings on and pop culture, I listen to my Drive Time Divas, Lori & Julie. That's where I expect to hear a few blurbs about it, but not ALL DAY LONG on ALL of the shows. I don't particularly care about what celebrities are doing. I tune in for the other stuff they talk about.

I LOVE Ian & Margery and Lori & Julie and will continue listening to them. As for the others, not so sure. It gets old listening to the same thing show after show, ALL DAY LONG (Please don't make Ian & Margery turn into a full celebrity/pop culture show. I'll have to stop listening to them too).

Why in the world would you get rid of Kevyn? Her show was one of the few left that actually had entertaining information. Bring her back...it doesn't make sense. Most listeners needed her to balance the day....an honest, intelligent woman. The rest of your lineup pales in comparison. Too bad for you!

I have listened to Keyvn Burger since day one. FM 107.1 your decision was the wrong one by letting her go.  I can think of at least three other people who are on the station that should of never got a job.  One is Shut-up-letta!  She is a racist loud mouthed woman, and if anyone caused a drop in ratings it has to be her.

I have removed FM107.1 from my car radio, home and work.

Bad decision, bad.

After listening to Jason and Alexis today I would like to apologize to Sheletta and Lori and Julia for commenting earlier that they should go. Jason reminded us all that Kevyn is a class act and using her termination as a way to insult others is not right. She would not approve. I think it is a mistake to let Kevyn go as she balanced the shows quite nicely. I will miss you Kevyn. Thanks Jason for the reminder that we should all be as classy as Kevyn during this time.

Kevyn Burger is a class act!! I know she will find a new home where she is appreciated.

I've listened to FM107 since the beginning and Kevyn, in my mind, is or I guess now, was, the CORE of the station. You're correct in saying she didn't sell-out to gossip and fluff, how wonderful that was. She is a women of substance!!! Any one remember that she won 2 Gracie's?

I am very dissapointed in the radio station for making this HUGE mistake.

Kevyn...you've been like a big sister to me. I have e-mailed you over the years telling you how much I love your show and content. If I had a radio station you'd be the head-liner and I would be confident in it's superior programming!

Good Bye FM107, Bridgit

I had for the most part stopped listening to Kevyn's show but not because of Kevyn. I am sure that Sheletta is a very nice person with many talents but I could not listen to her screeching and interrupting one more time.

I feel bad for Kevyn and I think the station has made a huge mistake.

I know it was a completely different situation but when the Satellite Sisters went off the air the station's IQ took a hit and it keeps getting dumber and dumber. I like my celebrity gossip here and there but do we need an entire station devoted to it?
