I just read what has happened - and I am very outraged! I will no longer be using any of the sponsers for this radio show - I will not be listening to this station or using any of the products that FM107 promotes!

I have thought that this station has been going down hill and turning into nothing but garbage.  If it weren't for the morning show - and Kevyn - I wouldn't even listen to this station!  I have been here since 2003 listening faithfully!

Then they started cutting people one by one - and I was really upset when they cut Meridith - I almost left the station - but this is ....  I can't explain. I was reading CJ's entry in the Star Tribune stating that Kevyn doesn't fit the celebrity-driven format?  What ever!

I don't think radio stations care if you leave - you don't pay for it - but if you hit them in their sponsers - then they will!

Goodbye FM107!!!

Well GOOD now I can officially take 107.1 off ALL my radios...WHAT where these folks thinking.  Is ANYONE really going to listen to a PURE rookie like Shaletta..who is completely unlistenable....there is NO reason to ever turn to this station EVER EVER again.  BOO...what a boneheaded move.

Signed,

Once loyal listener/NEVER listening again

I'm signing up for this one and only blog to express my anger and dismay of fm107.1's termination of Kevyn Burger.  I was unable to listen to Kevyn on a regular basis due to my work schedule, but I enjoyed her and the content of her show.  Making me even more upset is the reasoning behind letting her go.  The listeners want more pop culture and gossip--are you kidding me?!  I'm an intelligent, working mother in her mid-40s and am so tired of being the forgotten generation.  I'm not in the AARP group yet and I certainly don't fit in with the Gen-Xers.  I have always been a fan of Hollywood and the new of the rich and famous, but the pop culture of late is so ridiculous.  Swooning over people as 'celebrities' because they have a reality show on tv or come from a rich family.  I have also emailed the programming heads at fm107.1--make sure all of you unhappy listeners do that in case they choose to ignore this blog dialogue from all of us.  I am no longer an fm107.1 listener.  I am now cancelling my blog registration.  Thanks for reading my rant!

What a shame!  I will miss listening to Kevyn.  Her program was intelligent and fun.  I, too, will be joining the ranks of FORMER FM 107.1 listeners.  I am done with FM107.1.

Wow,  it looks like Kevyn has been really busy coming up with fake user names/aliases.

Kevyn was the only show worth listening to. Jason? Inane. IQ lower than room temperature. Totally interested only in himself. Lori and Julia seem very nice but, I'm sorry theyre both dumb as posts. Can't keep a single fact straight. Drives me crazy. Colleen Kruse and her "boys" (hello, stealing from Barbara Carlson?!!?) have nothing interesting to say -- just dumb topic after dumb topic.

I created an account only to log-on and say goodbye to FM107.1.

I'm shocked you let Kevyn Burger go!  You've lost a wonderful host -- and now you've lost a regular, long-time listener.  I don't like the direction the radio station is going at all.  Lori and Julia are too flighty and are actually embarrassing to listen to.  I'm not a prude, but their references to drugs, alcohol, and sex recently have gone over the edge -- they've gone way too far.  I'm not sure what type of audience you're looking for and trying to attract, but I know I'm no longer part of it.

While listening to Kevyn I was entertained and also felt like I was listening to a good friend -- someone I could share a cup of coffee with have a fun conversation with and yet be challenged to be a better person.  Kevyn actually put some thought and major effort into her shows.

I'll miss mornings with Ian and Marjorie, but not enough to continue listening.

I've removed FM107.1 off of my car radio and my web favorites.

Goodbye ...

Really people? The only reason I listened to Kevyn Burger is to hear Sheletta. I don't LOVE all of the shows, but this is a station that I keep on my radio rotation -- all of the shows have some value. There seems to be a lot of emotion in these posts so there's obviously some personal connection with Ms. Burger. I'm sure she'll be fine -- not the only radio host to move on. I'm looking forward to the change and hoping that it's got lots of humor -- we need it!:)

It's amazing how many people had access to this before, but as they state have only signed up to make a comment to protest about Kevyn's dismissal
