Without bashing other show hosts, producers, or management, even indirectly or passive-aggressively, tell us what you love about Kevyn, and what you'll miss about her show! |

I will miss her experienced parenting advice. An American Girl catelog somehow made it's way to my house this weekend. I actually enjoyed looking through it with my 2-yr-old because I don't have to wonder how soon she'll start begging for one. I'd already decided that I'll follow Kevyn's advice: She can't have one until she's old enough to read the books. I've got a good 5-7 years to save my pennies. Thanks Kevyn! |

Hmmm. Isn't that interesting? All these posts filled with anger and hate, and no one has anything good to say. Now, not only has Kevyn been let go of her job, all of her friends have been ripped to pieces, and no one can even tell her why they'll miss her. I know there were some nuggets of niceness in some of those posts, but I'm pretty sure that very few people at the station are going to wade through the hate to let Kevyn know what people will miss about her show. Or has everyone moved on already? How sad. I miss you, Kevyn! Good luck with your future endevors; I'll be looking for you. |

I for one will miss her voice in the morning and her show song that used to signal to my daughter and I that time was running late and we needed to get in the car for the ride to school. I will miss her quirky sense of humor and the way she played with words all the time. This station has definately lost probably the most talented person that was on their staff. She will most certainly find a better job somewhere else, and something tells me that we haven't seen or heard the last of the talented Kevyn Burger. |

I'll miss a show that's format isn't focused on Hollywood gossip.
I liked having a show that could cover serious conversations and topics as well as humorous and fun topics.
I had the pleasure of being on the air with Kevyn last April during the monthly breast exam. She allowed me to come on to promote a new endeavor to raise money for Susan G Komen -- Bake for Hope. She even asked a friend of hers who is a baker to donate items to our sale -- and her friend came through and did so. She took the extra step to help our event. We got some people to sign up to help with the event the day of the show. I was hoping to get support from Kevyn for this event again in 2010 -- sadly, I won't be able to. I'd love to get support from FM107 -- but I'm not sure this topic fits with any of the other programs.
Another thing that I like about Kevyn is her willingness to share about her life -- both the ups and downs, the exciting and boring. I really felt like I could be her or she could be me. |

Okay, now they have really done it. Now they took away Sheletta and Brian and extended so many shows that to me are unlistenable (hope that's a word). I have found something positive - if you like John Hines, he's on AM 830 9-12, it's a really good show to listen to. I used to listen to FM107 to Kevyn's entire program, then off till Dr. Joy Browne. I remember the good old days - Ian (by himself with James Lilek's calling in weekly), Kevyn Burger, Dr. Laura, then the Satellite Sisters, Andrew Zimmern, then off at 3 till L & J were off the air. Taking away Kevyn Burger was the last straw for me, I literally find myself going to the radio at 9 a.m. to turn it to FM107 then I remember Kevyn's gone and turn on 830. If there are other people like me, check out John's program, it's pretty good. Just my two cents. Lisa |
