Yet another non-general topic!

Does anyone go all out with the Halloween decor?  I try to buy some tasteful accents on hyper clearance, but if there's somewhere with good stuff on the cheap, fill me in! 

Any good costumes or costume stores around? 

I thought of possibly the best costume ever for my dog today:  A hockey mom!  I'm going to stain the white around her mouth with beets so it looks like she's wearing lipstick.  My sister bought her these wings to wear and she just looks so pitiful when you put them on her.  With just some staining I be she won't even notice, except during application.
