How do I go about getting in on this bonanza?

All I see are the headlines, I want the details!

Hey, I got a letter from letter from unemployment! Thanks to Dubya (even though I didn't vote for him) I am getting 7 additional weeks of unemployment = $240 less 10 % for taxes! that's $216 times 7 which equals $1512. My mortgage is $3,402 a month. I cannot sell it.

Those of you who believe we are in tough financial times are working and so are your friends.

Those of you who beleive we are in a recession means you are working, but  someone you know isn't.

Those of you out of work know we are in a depression.

Try being 61 years old, looking for a job. it doesn't matter if you hold 3 degrees. Too old, Walmart is full of greeters.

Try going from $2,000 a week to $216.  Try cashing in your 401k; your stocks; your bonds; your savings; your whole life paid up insurance policy just to stay current. I have been doing this since July 2007. The end is in sight.

I know a 3 degreed engineer layed off from a a missle maker. in his 40's working at Starbucks, hoping they don't close his store.

Keep hope alive, someone has to. I can no longer do it.

I believe that this crisis is manufactured, by the people brought the price of gas up to $5 and then down to $1.47. Who crashed the stock market and then bailed out the worst offenders.  They gave money to banks that were collapsing from bad mortgages. After which Alan Greenspan says I cannot believe that Banks would make such bad loans (what planet is he from - he approved the deregulation believing the banks would not take advantage to make a quick buck) We are in the hands of people who are willing to take advantage of all peoples of the world to make them subservient. A small rulling class, a population that will be decimated. Wars and disease are right around the corner. We are desensitized to everything. Death is shown TV So at 5am on black friday on LongIsland a Walmart worker opened the dors and was trampled to death by the bargain hunters. They weren't killers, they were suburbanites trying to but Christmas presents in tough financial times.

so, nice people can turn into killers because of financial reasons as described above. what will happen when more families reach my position. When people have no savings or any cusion are turned out into the street. How long before they are brought together perhaps by a nefairious group. There is need for change, now.

AMERICA DEMANDS HONESTY & COMMON SENSE!!!

1. The Congress of the USA should make the corporate tax rate as it was in 2005.
2. The Congress should also institute a law that ALL military materials and services are to be manufactured, repaired ,

and assembled in the USA.

3. The Congress should also make a tax law that would add a surcharge to any company that transfers jobs overseas per . employee. Plus, since there is NO free trade, revamp the trade agreements, so they r tilted towards the USA.

4. The Congress should also make up tax credits towards the manufacture and installation of fuel efficent vehicles that would . use a Hydrogen engine, fuel cell(s), or natural gas...for it's citizens.

5. The congress should also empower the coastal states via tax credits, to produce and install Tidal or Wave generators to be

placed of our coasts...utilizing Eminent Domain. Great Britain is currently installing the Wave Generator.

6. The Congress needs to Federally fund Medicare and No Child Left Behind programs.

7. The Congress should STOP ANY MORE BAILOUTS

8. .Congress should remove the cap from Social Security and remove the marriage penalty in the tax code.

9. Revamp the 69,000 pages of the tax code to a flat tax rate to 15%, with no exemptions!

10. Make it manditory for ALL loan institutions who have or will recieve federal monies to refinance all mortages to 5.5%.

The above initiatives could create between 5 and 10 million jobs, conservatively. Give the Credit industry an infusion of capital, and give the citizens of the USA some breathing room. It would create DEMAND for goods and services, and strengthen the US dollar.

We are no longer in a position to be giving away GRANTS to non-citizens, or other countries.

We must bring home the troops from Afganistan, Iraq, Kuwait, South Korea, and ****an. Place them on our borders TO strengthen port security and beef up internal security and Inspection agencies They would spend their earnings in the USA and help safe-guard our Republic.

Sincerely Yours,

Beckyanna's plan to save the economy:   5% gas-tax increase for anyone driving a Hummer.  If money is to be piddled away, it may as well be put to good use.
