I have been invited to usher in a friend's wedding in August. It is an outdoor afternoon to evening wedding, for which I'd have a plethora of dress choices except that I've been asked to wear black. It's hard to find solid black dresses in the summer, I've looked and only found one option that I've liked so far- Calvin Klein has some cuties out right now- but I'm open to options whilst I'm waiting for the price to come down a bit. I already bought the blue one, unfortunately I don't think that style comes in black and I'm not sure the pencil skirt would be as flattering.
Anybody seen anything summery but still appropriate for a wedding, black but not funereal, and preferably in a natural fiber? |

You can always try Ebay. It may not be a current design, but the price should be better. |

That blue one is HAWT. If you're feeling adventurous you could always get a couple boxes of black Rit and go to town. |

I almost bought a dress of off Newport News for my friends wedding, they have lots of great dresses that come in different colors and are cheap. Also, I always look at Overstock.com and Amazon.com, I think people would be surprised to see what they have to offer. And the site that I LOVE, like.com. Obviously I like shopping online. :-) |

Be careful if you use Newport News..... I have bought clothes off their webiste before, and yes they are cheaply priced, but some items are cheaply made. I had a problem with seeing through some of the items I bought. |

Zappos.com does more than shoes, you could try there. I would also check out Ann Taylor loft, cute dresses that are resonable in price. I bet the fall stuff is in. |
