Ya'll, I have to let you into my world for a moment.  Bear with me.  I am setting the stage here... I am literally starting a business as we speak, designing my website, meeting with the tax advisor, coaching new clients, working part time for the station, oh yeah - making a new person, and parenting one of the other people I made.  My life is a disorganized mess - not to mention my living space.

Here's the grand to do list (some stuff may be left out for the sake of brevity)...

  • I still have to clean out the junk drawer from last week's junk drawer challenge.
  • I have to do the linen closet for this week's challenge.
  • I can't see around the toy clutter to see what real clutter I have to get to.
  • Every closet is a complete and total disaster (because if I close the door, I can't see it).
  • and my desk is so full of junk, I can't even see the top, let alone work on top of it.

I am only scratching the surface.

Here's the problem, here's where I need your help (by the way, the sign of a good life coach is that he or she doesn't have it all together... just needed to throw that in), I am procrastinating.  I feel like there is so much to do, I don't know where to start.  Once I get started, I'll focus on one task, and then find something else that needs attention, so I have a lot of half done projects.  I need help prioritizing, and then I need help sticking to a schedule.  I suppose that's why we started this group -- for cleaning support.  Who knew it was such a challenge???  Any great, insightful advice?  Or just a good idea to motivate me to get on track?

Thanks for the tip! I've been scrubbing the faucets with lime away in our apartments in preperation for the move and havent' had much success with it at all (even though they weren't in much better condition when we moved in) I will for sure try that in the next couple days!

TIP: Ridding my world of water calcified build-up on kitchen (and other) faucet -

I had the flash to take two connected paper towels, roll them up tightlyish, soak them with white vinegar (wonderful for cleaning, but NOT for eating!), then wrap it snugglyish around the base of my kitchen faucet for a few hours, then another place of build-up on the faucet overnight. AMAZING! the calcification wiped off with EASE! No scrubbing AT ALL! This shiny stainless steel faucet is SHINY again after looking horribly decayed...and the vinegar did all the work.
