Greetings Fellow Gabsters.  Yes it's true, I haven't blogged for awhile - but there's nothing like helping out a fellow Gabster to get my fingers flying!

A lot of families are struggling. Good people are out of work & need to support their families.  While many of us are facing tough economic times, people in the trades certainly have been hit hard. 

Many of you know my darling friends WhirlWend & Ronalicous (aka: Wendy & Ron).  Wendy's one of the original Gabsters and a bright spot of sunshine to anyone that knows her (hence - the title of our benefit).  If you've been listening awhile, you may even recognize her beautiful voice on some FM107 commercials, introducing the listening audience to this wonderful cyber community.......and isn't it just like Wendy to donate her time to come in and record that commercial because she loves the station! 

Wendy's generosity is legendary - in the two years since we've met, Wendy has become known for her unconditional friendship, flash of a......smile (!) and the ability to gather friends without effort.  And now Wendy & Ron need a LOT of love and some help from each one of us.  TOGETHER we can make a difference!

And I'm not alone - thanks to Gabster Anne Findley (who I give 100% credit for launching the Jason Matheson show - hahahah!) Anne stepped forward to find the perfect place for a gathering and benefit....

Other Gabsters are joining in too - So PLEASE join in the fun of bowling, while gathering to help support Ron & Wendy Neuer, a family whose lives have been turned upside down by the downturn in the construction business.

Come to Elsie's Bowling Center in NE Minneapolis for a night of social networking and bowling. Are you yourself out of work? Are you wanting to change jobs? This is a perfect night to get together and have a LOT of fun, network with Party Town friends and meet new people, while helping a wonderful family who have always been there first to help others.
