    Thanks Jess.

I have always liked these little polls too! Glad someone else does as well.

Thanks! While we were up north, my younger daughter took many pictures for us. This one and another of her feet are my favs!

Yup, welcome to the 4 kids club! Mine are girl/boy/girl/boy aged 15/9/8/and 6 in a few weeks! I joke that our 4th is the one that put me over the edge, but I was pretty close to it before he was born - he, he!

:) Yeah.. the lowlands can be really pretty.. big stretches of marsh land with bright green tall grasses, and long docks reaching out past the green areas into the salt water. I actually find Minnesota more scenic, but there are definitely beautiful aspects of the south. Funny how the pace is so different there. I met some really great people in Charleston and will most likely be able to call them friends! It was a good trip, but I barely skimmed the surface!

I think your approach is perfect. Sometimes taking one moment at a time is all you can do! No one has a corner on perfect, and if it seems that someone is perfect... chances are it's not as it seems. Pregnancy is never easy and each one of us does what we can to make it through and somehow survive. It's interesting how everyone is different in how their pregnancy goes and what works for them. Of course, the normal exhaustion seems to be an ear-marker for the baby-growing business... but it passes and moves toward fatigue when you are taking care of a little one. Once you get them sleeping through the night, it all changes. I remember once Jack got to that point and I was not pregnant, I was SOOOO happy because it meant that I could sleep like a "normal" person. Of course, now it simply changes. We recieve the midnight calls from sleepers who have been awakened by a bad dream, or simply want to snuggle. Thankfully, being a mommy helps you handle all the new struggles.

It's awesome that you can use your teen to help with the minor chores and help cook. I remember helping my mom when she was pregnant with my youngest sister and it was such a learning experience. I learned so much about cooking and other household things because I was trying to be helpful to mom.

Thank you for the comment! I appreciate a true outsider's perspective on that small event. I really try to show my kids that you just need to let go of moments like that in your life - but that one has been sticking for a few days. I think because I was unaware it had happened and my teen had born the brunt of it!

And congratulations! Good luck - and what # will that be for you?

lots of naps! That's sometimes what I'd cling to! I would put the little one down for a nap and take one myself. Often I made meals in advance because I couldn't stomach it in the evenings. So, I'd make spaghetti and double the batch. We'd reheat things for the evening and then I'd use the sauce for pizza, breadsticks, and baked spaghetti.

Other than that, there is not much magic to it, you might stumble through the pregnancy. However the silver lining is that it's gonna be over :)

Thanks for the advice and congrats on the pregnancy!!

I saw you can buy an alarm for the car so you won't forget your baby in the back seat during a really hot day-god, I hope I don't need that.
