Thank you for the encouragement. Sometimes I get so frustrated with the amount of work it takes to send out thank yous for a Christmas present I opened in front of that family member. I think my hesitation is simply because I'm recieving no thank-you notes from anyone, yet putting forth a huge effort myself. I'll continue my thank-you notes and keep reinforcing this with the kids.

Bruce,  Hey!  Thanks for the kind message.  Of course I would love to take you up on your offer but it still depends on the cost.  The ring I saw at the jewlery store was a white gold ring with a horizontal oval stone surrounded by teeny diamond chips.  The stone in the ring right now is the August birthstone but the salesman said it could be set with the December birthstone just as easily. I believe the December birthstone is Blue Topaz.

At the moment my PC is mostly just used for basic work related things.  When I push it, it does get quite hot.  That's why there's 8 fans and a temp. control monitor.  I have 2 terabytes of hard drive space, but it never seems to be enough.  I have an external harddrive tower that I plan to fill with large drives soon.  I have 3 21 inch monitors, and a 27 inch TV hooked up to it.  I do play around with creating video games and such.  I've been working/playing with computers since I was a toddler.  I programmed my first videogame when I was about 5 using basic.  My father used to be a big shot with IBM and Data 100, he invented some cool stuff with Data 100 in the 70's.  So, I grew up with computers around me all the time, which is rare for my generation. 

I love computers.  I love the new technology. I love tinkering and messing with it, to see how far I can push it.  I'm starting to get into playing with biometric stuff, I have a hand scanner, and soon I'll be getting an Iris scanner to play with.  I'd like to start working on a custom security system for my home with all my "toys" soon. I love doing all this stuff, but I could never have a job where I gotta sit at a desk all day and do it.  So, it's just a big hobby for me.
