I'm sure most of you know Naroh Jones.  Anoushka Shankar is jones' half sister.  Their father is Ravi Shankar (Sitar Hero).

Wow, it's been a while.  I've been so busy and tired, I haven't been able to finish my China blogs.

Ok, there's the Bird's Nest behind me.  Exciting, no?

At the Summer Palace I got some pictures with a military patrol.  We said thanks for the pix and started leaving and they stopped us.  They wanted to get some pictures with their cameras.  The Summer Palace was huge, a lot of walking.  I'll try to pick out some good pictures to upload later.

Walking through Tiananmen Square, there were a lot of people stopping me to have pictures taken.  I wasn't the only white dude there, so I don't know what that was about.

Near the high point of the Great Wall.  I walked just under a billion miles to get to this spot.  I was walking with a nice couple from Poland.  Well actually, I was walking with the wife.  Trying to keep up with the husband (who was almost 80).  I walked part of the way back down, then I got on a roller coaster thing and flew straight down the side of the mountain.  I didn't know it was gonna be like a roller coaster when I got on it, so that kinda scared the crap outta me when it started going that fast.

At the Great Wall entrace I was at, there was this mini zoo thing with a bunch of bears.  This one is begging for bits of apple.

Ok, yes, I know I look the same in all of the pictures.  I'm not very good at getting my pic taken.  There's no need to point this out to me.
