Oh yeah ... this is the Ting Tings

... and I think I might be freaking out a bit.  I've known about this trip for a few months, but now it's only a few days away.  I fly stand- by and I just got a call, apparently I might be leaving this saturday instead of tuesday.  I should start thinking about what I'm gonna pack. 

I hate flying, and I'm told this will be about 13 hours in the air ... actually, I think it's a bit more than that.  Then there's the stop in ****an.  It looks like I'll be in ****an for at least a night before I continue to China. 

I'm pretty sure I had a mini panic attack today. 

 How many pairs of socks should I take?  My comfy shoes just started being not so comfy, there's gonna be a lot of walking in China and it's too late to break in a new pair of shoes.  If I don't shave, are they gonna think I'm a terrorist at the airport?  What is the sudden change in my diet gonna do to my system?  Did I save enough spending money?  Will my buisiness be ok with me gone for a few weeks?  Should I bring a jacket?  Do they know what mac n cheese is in China?  How long can I go without logging into this site?  I'm gonna miss  2-3 tuesdays of trivia!  Do you think they make doors the same size all around the world, or am I gonna hit my head a lot there? 

... oh, and I'm told Chinese whiskey kinda sucks.

I haven't been on vacation in about 20 years, since I was 6.  I hope I can relax when I'm there so I have a chance to enjoy it.  I'm gonna try to take a butt load of pictures, I might post some on this site.  I'll be in Beijing for 3-6 days, then spend the rest of the trip in Tianjin.  If I get a chance, I'll stop in a post a blog about how it's going. 

Ok, that's enough for now.  I'm still freaking out a bit.  I gotta finish my scotch and get to bed.  I'll type atcha laters!
