"The Change" these are words I think most women dread but I am embracing. Most of my friends my age aren't having menopause symptoms yet or are still on birth control. Here I am With Grown children and Grandma of two (a 5 year old and a 2 year old) they are always mistaken for mine :) I Love that part. Anyways I am so excited for this next chapter of my life! Am I crazy that I want to have a menopause party? I think this would be a blast!!! What a way to celebrate this next phase of my life. And celebrate freedom from periods!!! The first 40 years have been pretty great, but life has just been getting better, I'm just so excited to see what is ahead for me and my husband. I've warned him about my menopause party idea. I don't think he thinks I'm serious.

HERE'S A THEORY. THE FIRST FORTY PEOPLE TO IDENTIFY WITH THE MENOPAUSE PARTY ARE THE FIRST FORTY TO GET INVITED. I WOULD BE HAPPY TO HELP YOU CELEBRATE. I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO HOT FLASHES! ANNE FINDLEY |

I would go to a menopause party. It's a great idea! I think a just started it, haven't had a period in two months. That alone is worth celebrating. maillady |

I would love to have a menopause party, I would love to start menopause. I am 10 years older than you, still have teenagers, and at the rate I am going I will still be having regular periods into my 80's. 35+ years of this is MORE than enough. Oh well, at least I don't need to worry about hormone replacement therapy yet.
