My husband is the salsa maker, and he uses one from The Frugal Gourmet. He freezes it, but then it gets super watery, so we have to drain it. Personally, I would switch out the vinegar with lime juice to make it more authentic. And the tomato sauce is a questionable ingredient, but it doesn't hurt things. I'd like to venture out with a new one, maybe with corn or blackbeans or fruit. |

I've found that lattes and warm drinks tend to fill me up, but I'll try to consider the protein thing. Unfortunately, I'm trying to get back to goal-weight and that means watching EVERYTHING :)
ZI know how to manage my chore-list so that I don't get overwhelmed, but I'm itching to get outside and run and/or do some exercise. I hate letting the natural motivation vanish under the "you are supposed to be taking it easy". *sigh* This week, I scheduled playdates in the afternoons so that I don't feel the need to rake the yard.
As for the food thing... my husband doesn't get any pleasure from food and subsequently barely eats. He just isn't hungry... or not hungry for that. It's completely frustrating to see his food-issues and couple that with mine (a tendancy to make really good food and eat way too much of it).
My first art-show was all watercolor. This second one is a little out of the box... it's litterally off the board/page and a little more fun and whimsical. I used a paper mache technique that is kind of fun and works similar to clay. Once I get the art-pieces framed, I'm ready to launch the next show.
Surgery- I am no longer going to have a period :)
