Me? Up since 8:00 AM on a Sunday watching Hugh Laurie clips on YouTube? Never....
There's nothing funnier than Brits making fun of us Yanks, because, frankly, we deserve it.
Who, me?
Still alive, however, without cake
Bonus points if you understand the title. Me? Never played it.
It's been radio silent over here for a little while. I've had other
**** to do. Like sit on my ass and watch House reruns while my real
house crumbles around me. I swear I'm going to do the dishes tonight.
Unless something goes awry today I will actually be cooking real food
for dinner. I will try to take pictures and blog it. On deck: stuffed
carnival squash.
Had a team photo shoot last night at Porky's. I was hesitant to go.
After all, I'm not actually skating this season. But someone told me
to go so I went. I'm really glad I did. I miss those chicks. I'm
going to practice tonight to prepare for my line calling debut. I
don't know 99% of the new recruits and there are a ton of them.
Of course this means that I have to figure out how to tape the new
episode of House (and Fringe because it's neat). This means I get to
tear apart the TV stand. The more I think about it the less inclined I
am to do it. Really? Me planning my life around a TV show? Who am
I? Maybe I'll just wait until the rerun is on Hulu.
Speaking of Hulu, I've decided to watch that Firefly show and see what
the heck the big deal is. I've never really gotten past ST:TNG in the
sci fi world. Let's be honest -- for the most part sci fi TV shows are
giant steaming piles of crap. And have you ever seriously watched any
of those made-for-TV-movies on the Sci Fi Channel? I came across one
sometime last year while flipping channels where the premise was - I
**** you not - ZOMG THERE'S A VOLCANO UNDER NEW YORK CITY!!!11! I got
about ten minutes in before my brain started to melt and I had to watch
something more stimulating, like the Home Shopping Network. There's
willful suspension of disbelief and then there's regression to the IQ
of amoebae.
Argh, being pregnant makes me watch TV. That makes me sad.
