WE MISSED YOU LAST NIGHT. I HOPE IT WASN'T ANYTHING TRAGIC, AND YOU ARE WELL AND SAFE.

I was listening to Cooper Lawrence tonight and they were talking about the stupid boxing theme. My favorite point was that there's nothing that says boxing like Andrew Lloyd Webber and David Archuleta. I never thought of it that way, but thought how true that was. Stupid metaphor and stupid theme - I hope they don't do that one again.

I have been thinking about your comment for awhile now... don't know what to do with it.

First, I see your point that my story might be an interesting one. I think it is, in fact... I know it is. However, some of the most interesting parts are not necessarily something I'd ever write about for the general public. Unfortunately, taking them out of my story only proves to leave people puzzled as to how I got to where I'm at today. Sometimes it's those dark times that can shape and change a character so distinctly that there is no going back. So, my first issue is how to protect the privacy of my family without stepping over those bounds.

Second, who the 'eff wants to read a memoire from someone in their 20s? Do you know what I mean? Isn't that a little presumptuous? I think there is a way to get around that. If I write specifically toward a specific subject, then I can tell my story without making it a memoire. However, I need that focus... like.... do I focus on learning who I am in the midst of parenting? Do I focus on parenting and how to muddle through and figure it out when age and wisdom is not on your side? If I try to draw a line between my journey as a woman and how parenting and children effect this... then possibly. Do you see my issue? If I do a bunch of stories that illustrate something, then it provides the readers with a fun way of looking at the situation. If I sit down and write my story, then I'm being youthfully optimistic that I might actually have gained wisdom despite my craziness.

So, help me find a focus... or something that I can work toward. That way, I can write toward that.

Ok... super long comment... sorry... like I said, I've been thinking about you and your idea for awhile.

Way to blame the inanimate object! Is that from "Taking Responsibility 101?" I got an A+ in that class myself.

Sorry I didn't get back to you before tonight's show - guess that kinda takes away the surprise factor. Oh well!
