Yes I've seen it. Jimmy Carter is a wonderful humanitarian, but he wasn't an effective politician. You can go back to Clinton too - he was eager to help give out mortgages so that more Americans could afford to buy homes. At the same time these are serious miscalculations, there have been 8 years of monitoring those decisions and suddenly we're in crisis. I think that shows that there's blame on all sides.

As for accountability, that's where we stand today and we can't go back - we need to move forward.

Thanks for pointing it out for others that may not have seen the CNN piece. I've been getting information from friends on both sides of the aisle - which I'm trying carefully to read and understand.

    Cheers!

In the immortal words of Yoda, "Wisdom you say, listen I will. Yes."

Your words are my sentiment exactly. We need to move forward and hopefully wiser.

    Thanks for your comments!

I value your strength as a politically minded lady and would love to hear your thoughts on the movie "Zeitgeist". At the very least I found it fascinating. I think you can watch it at - www.zeitgeistmovie.com/.

    It's about two hours long.

No, Sarah Palin is not what we stand for. Someone who advocates taking away personal freedoms (look it up!) and believes that our involvement in Iraq is "a task from God," is not in any way speaking for liberal women.

The idea that the GOP is interested in smaller government is a myth. Actions, not words, back me up on this.

And who said I was a Democrat, anyway?

I wish I could come over... but alas... I have to get some of this darn homework done today and that means my studytime in the morning is essential. 9:30-11:30am I'm on lock-down!!!!!

Maybe I'll have to schedule a visit to see you sometime to see it!
