In honor of Art Attack, the open-gallery event of Minneapolis (this weekend!), I thought I'd post this "How to Behave at a Gallery" video.. for those who aren't quite sure how to look at art in the accepted fashion. Believe me, I've seen and HEARD a lot of them! :\
Here's the scoop on Art Attack:
Art Attack is an annual open studio and gallery crawl at the Northrup King Building, in the heart of the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. The weekend-long event features hundreds of artists working in ceramics, glass, jewelry, mixed media, mosaics, painting, photography, pottery, sculpture, wood, textiles, and more.
Art Attack is the perfect foray into the holiday season, where visitors can find creative, one-of-a-kind gifts, meet the artists, learn about the creative processes, watch demonstrations and performance paintings and support the arts during this festive event. Art Attack Celebrates its 11th Year!
The artist at the Northrup King Building celebrate the 11th year of Art Attack with a fashion show, live music, demonstrations and a chance to win $500 in Art Bucks.

The first time I saw these two clowns, I laughed so hard I almost.. I don't know what.
I wanted to turn away, but just COuuLLDDDN'T do it! I had to see how it ended.
These two are Canadians, of COURSE! Almost any Canadian can get a tv show these days it seems!

Hey All :)
I dropped my cell phone for the last time and now that it won't turn back on (and numbers didn't save to my SIM card).. if I once had your number, I sure don't now. :\
Can anyone who has given me their number drop me a message with your number again so I can resave it.. this time to the SIM card!! ?
However, if you conveniently FORGET to do so, it could be the break you've been looking for! ha!
Any and all numbers given will be stored :)
** Please Note ** If I've talked to you since yesterday, then I DO have your number.. and you can relax and breathe a sigh of relief.
The vote went smoothly today. I was impressed at how smoothly everything went! ! I was thinking of voting early yesterday because of what I've heard about the long lines expected today. BUT, took the risk and went today instead. The line took like 5 minutes.. all went VERY smoothly in my regular voting place in NE Minneapolis. There was a table for people who weren't yet registered to register right before voting - a very important aspect in the election this year since there are so many new voters. Turnouts will be record numbers as I'm sure you know. It should be fun to watch the results tonight!! What an interesting process it is too.
Since I was already registered, I picked up a ballot, waited about 1 minute for a booth to open up and lickity split.. filled out ALLLLL the judges and water/soil conservation people.. this is when I felt like I should have studied more for this test!
So I'm wearing my I VOTED sticker and my "SMART WOMEN VOTE" pin. Are you ?? :)
