Ever have one with your adored? You know the ones I'm talking about...when you're having an arguement and IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. If you're like me, you have a gesture that let's your loved one know, "how are you not understanding my point." A recurring fight my hubby and I have involves him needing to make a phone call and me nagging him until he makes it. For hubby, making a phone call is a MAJOR task. If it's necessary for him to make a call, I'll ask him, "did you make that call, you need to make that call, when are you going to call." I make the point that he needs to put in the call so people can plan ahead for whatever social event we want them to attend (I say all this using my gesture). He responds by clearly being annoyed with me, stating he'll make the call after......(whatever task), and then doesn't make the call. URG! This cycle repeats itself at least 2-3 times before he finally makes the call and by then it's usually too late for that person to attend the event due to the short notice. These fights are Big Fun! Now it's your turn to share. Mrs. D |

I remember having the "leaving the toilet seat up" fight. It got pretty intense and went on for about an hour right before bed as neither one of us would back down. We both had heartfelt "It's not my responsibility" comments. In the end, I'm not sure we really resolved the problem. I agreed to try and remember to put the lid back down, and she agreed to try and remember to check it before sitting. (*men, just put the lid back down....trust me*) |

Just the toilet seat?? Have you not also discussed which way the toilet paper roll goes on the holder? Maybe you're just lucky enough that you both go the same direction :) |
