If you heard a random "beep" on Christmas Eve and then again on Christmas day, that was us passing through!  (If you hear a random "beep" and then see a blue RAV4, wave like crazy, 'cuz that'd be us!)

Yes!  Stacey (now Holm) was assistant coach my junior year and head coach my senior year.  I graduated in 2003.  I forgot that she was from Cokato as well....

Yeah, Emily had THE BEST smile.  I have pictures of her on my computer that I like to randomly look at.  I wasn't able to attend the funeral because I was out east.  Any time I go home to see my parents and take Hwy 55 I always pass the road to Cokato and think of her.  I've been tempted to take a detour there, but don't even know where she's buried.

It's an odd thing.  Four years ago and almost seems like just last week.

I'm glad we connected, too.  It's a small world our there :) 

Emily was a good friend of mine.  We played softball together at Concordia. She was a freshman when I was a senior and I kind of took her under my wing that year.  I was out @ Penn State in grad school when she was in the accident.  4 years to the day on Monday, actually.  It's crazy how things happen.....they're a great family.  Her sister is up at Concordia playing ball now...
