    ALL TIME FAVORITE DESERT !

      I am not much for desert but I do love fresh baked cookies straight out of the oven. Cake and Pie is OK I just have to be in the mood. Alltho I do like Vanilla Ice cream with chocolate syrup on top.

    But there is one sweet, tart and crunchy delight that I just cant seam to say no to!

    It's beautiful redish pink center is the most beautiful color in the world along with the aroma that awakens your inner most animal desire to dive in and devour it !

    Not only that but there is a not to sweet wonderful crunchy topping that sometimes you want to genitally lift off with your thumb and index fingers and slowly place on your tongue and enjoy every little bit of it's texture.

    But best of all is the marriage of the two. The sweet, tart, crunchy delight that overwelms your inner most sciences. And the then you place a dollop of whipped cream on top. For those of you who are on a diet, Thank you ! This means there is more for me to love !

    If you have not yet yet figured out what delectable dessert I am referring to it is.

    Rhubarb Crisp !!

    I love me some Rhubarb crisp and I consider myself a top notch judge of this wonderful delight . So for all of you who think you have the best recipe, I will be the judge of that ! All you have to do is invite me over to sample your version of this taste of heaven. I will be fair to all and the winner will have the honer of making me another batch to take home with me to enjoy for days to fallow.

    The only rule is that my samples must be at least a four by four inch peace with two dollops of whopped cream on top. This will insure that I will receive the full effect !

    Not sure if it was a typo, but I like how you call it "whopped cream". I always call it whoopin' cream, just to get weird looks, and I usually do...

    What a great piece of writing! You are too funny. Good luck in your "quest" at finding the perfect piece of rhubard crisp and its tarty goodness.

    I just might have to call my Grandma up. She makes the best that I know of. She's one of those ladies who really doesn't have a recipe, it's all in her head, but it's awesome every time!

    Look no further...I can make that dessert and leave you cryin' for more! Well, honestly Trucker, you'll have to wait for rhubarb season to come back around again. I mean, c'mon! You can't use frozen rhubarb. That's just wrong. I get mine from the sweet old ladies next door. Betty and Irene to be exact. Now you know it's gotta be good! Both grown and made with love. My man doesn't appreciate this perfectly tart treat, whooped cream or no so I would be happy to make it and share it with a fellow connoisseur. In my not so humble opinion, mines the best I've ever had!
