I went to the first annual Surlyfest, at the brewery a short while back. It was a TON of fun. Got a beer stein and 4 tickets to fill it. I tried thier Surlyfest (of course) and found Hell, you'll have to go to their website to get the skinny on that

Ok This weekend is a giant OKTOBERFEST beer opportunity. The Schell brewery in New Ulm has the tent, the oom pah pahs and the beer. I read a review of their OKTOBERFEST beer and the reviewer was raving. Also... try the Black Forest at 26th and Nicoll

There's a new potato vodka coming on the market that is to die for! It is called Blue Ice and is made in the US. I had some on the rocks and let me just say it is soooo smooth.
