Surly is great beer. They made this cranberry beer for a special event at the Blue Nile in Minneapolis and then never made it again. I'm glad I got to try it but, what can I do to get some more of that stuff!!!

I just tried Boulder Beer for the first time this weekend and was less than enthused (sorry to anybody that enjoys, I just don't). Which got me to thinking: what beer have you tried that sounded like a good idea at the time, but ended up being "yucky

Ok This weekend is a giant OKTOBERFEST beer opportunity. The Schell brewery in New Ulm has the tent, the oom pah pahs and the beer. I read a review of their OKTOBERFEST beer and the reviewer was raving. Also... try the Black Forest at 26th and Nicoll

There's a new potato vodka coming on the market that is to die for! It is called Blue Ice and is made in the US. I had some on the rocks and let me just say it is soooo smooth.
