I JUST THOUGHT YOU ALL MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN A LOCAL BREWING CO.  SURLY BREWING COMPANY IS RIGHT HERE IN THE METRO - 4811 DUSHARME DRIVE BROOKLYN CENTER.  I BELEIVE THEY HAVE A TASTING EVENT AT NOON SATURDAY 17 NOVEMBER AT THE BREWERY.

I went to the first annual Surlyfest, at the brewery a short while back. It was a TON of fun. Got a beer stein and 4 tickets to fill it. I tried thier Surlyfest (of course) and found Hell, you'll have to go to their website to get the skinny on that one. I was dissappointed to find out they are only brewing Hell to be sold on tap at bars. I'll have to go find out where, hopefully it will be a Tooties on Lowry. Great burgers, wings and Surly too? I love it.


I'm glad it's fall, all those Octoberfest beers are coming out. Right now I'm on a Schells Octoberfest kick!

Surly is great beer.  They made this cranberry beer for a special event at the Blue Nile in Minneapolis and then never made it again.  I'm glad I got to try it but, what can I do to get some more of that stuff!!!
