thank you dear :) I hope so too... but until our car situation gets figured out, I'm not sure. I have finals next week and the week after that, so it'll be a busy couple of weeks. Of course, once it's done, I start the next two classes. No rest for the weary, right?

I seem to be just going from one thing to the next. I'm just hoping that everyone is not sick for 3 days. I'd be good with just 3 days where no one is sick at all. Is that too much to ask?

Thankfully, I'm somehow handling, maybe not gracefully... but handling it. Life is good. Life will get better. Maybe the baby will come early and at least that can make life a little more calm. Or umm... do babies make things more crazy? I don't know, just hoping that my sil will have some relief!

Great point! Many people who receive donantions of other body-parts are needing it in order to live. It's often a life-giving donation... regardless.

I like that argument... although I believe that many would take issue with it because it's not just a kidney, it creates a life. I will respect her position, but I believe that I will respectfully keep my distance too :)

That's the thing... I can appreciate her stance on abortion or on this issue too. It's just weird that she had decided to take issue with it. I mean, my mom disagrees for possibly the same or similar reasons, but she only said that she supports me. Of course, she too has her reservations and gets suddenly very quiet when I bring it up. So, I understand that its a sore spot. Thus, I don't really bring it up that much. It just hit me weird. I read and responded to her with my two previous blogs about the decision and WHY I chose this route. It has my thought-process and my extreme compassion on those who have had trouble having children.
I think when you have people very close to you struggle with infertility, struggle to bring a baby to term, or simply who desire to be parents... it brings the decision into focus further. This week has been that way for me.
I still have to sign everything. I'm not re-thinking it, I just needed to sit with this. I know that if I expose this part of myself to some people they will have this reaction.

Maybe I won't take her up on her offer to have coffee.
