Hi there, How have you been? I have not been on here much. Work is going good and they gave me Employee of the month for September....yeah...I just had to tell someone on here. Hope all is well with you and your family! :-)

Thank you. Yes I like to think I'm something of an artist or at least am trying to be. I work mostly with fiber, the picture is of an art quilt I made. One of several of trees. Sorry I'm not better about responding to people. I haven't spent a lot of time learning to navigate my way around gabster. I apreciate your comment.

I SOOOOO want to go to that Drive in!!! We were going to go last weekend but the movies currently playing are Terminator, Wolverine, and that lame Seth Rogan comedy. I was hoping that Up would be there! How fun would it be for $15 to be able to bring the kids to the movies for the night...no babysitter! And you can bring your own treats!
You seem to have a GREAT plan going for your staycation. sounds like a lot of fun! (I am super jealous!)
I LOVE the kebab idea. Grilling is the best!!! (P.S. Marinated shrimp is delicious on the grill)

Thanks, Z! I do think about that all the time. I think about the people that have come in and out of my life and wonder what the reason was. What did they need from me and what did I need from them?

I'm not saving the world in my full time job, but I am definitely tuned into my coworkers and I try to make my little corner of the world as pleasant and productive as I can.

So, you are right. I can concentrate on affecting the people in my life while still having that global vision.
