Thanks for friending me!  I hope you are enjoying the beginning of the new season. 

Don't beat yourself up because of how you feel! Trust me, I have been there. Our oldest went to a private, for-profit school for Kindergarten (it was actually not much more $$$ than P/T Kindergarten and daycare would have been) and we were definitely on the lower end of things! My husband would drop off in his beater (that died that winter!) from college and park behind the Eddie Bauer van with matching car seats and in front of one of the doctors from the hospital he worked at. Oh, and the birthday parties!

At the end of the school year one family invited the entire class to an end of the year pool party. Here I was, envisioning an above ground pool crowded with all of our lawn chairs. Ummm, no. In-ground pool surrounded by a wrought iron fence in the yard of a 3 story house with a shed that was way nicer than the house we had just bought! I listened to another couple talk about how difficult it was going to be to find a nanny after the wife had her baby - & I had only taken 4 weeks leave after we had our 2nd because we couldn't afford to have me miss more! Very weird. Just remember that you are as wonderful a mom and person as they are - regardless of what they have.
